Gender Specific Issues & Women’s Rights

Many groups suffer the oppression of systematic violence; Members of some group live with the knowledge that, they must fear random, unprovoked attacks on their person or property which have no motive but to damage humiliate or destroy the person.

Women live under such threats of violence

What makes violence a phenomenon of social justice and not merely an isolated moral wrong is its systematic character, its existence as a social practice. Social justice requires explicitly acknowledging and attending to those groups differently in order to undermine oppression.

The Dominant purpose and objective of B-CARL is to create both climate and ground to help women access authority in equal terms.
